Prerequisites:

1. To proceed with the process you need to root your android smartphone. In case, if you are not sure whether your android phone is rooted or not, just download the ‘Root Checker‘ app from the Google Play Store. 2. Next, backup all your datas available on your android smartphone, as the partition process will wipe it all.
3. Next download and install the ‘Link2SD‘ app from the Google Play Store on your phone.
4. As I have already said, this procedure requires the ClockworkMod recovery and you must have it installed on your android device. Try to install the latest version of the ClockworkMod recovery.
5. Finally, check the battery percentage level of your android phone and make sure it is not less than 75%. If it is less, then charge your phone fully or up to 75%.

Procedure to Partition The Memory Card:

1. First switch off your android phone and boot it into recovery mode by following any method or by using the key combination.
2. The Touch doesn’t work in most of the Clockworkmod recovery, so use home button for selection and volume buttons for navigation.
3. Then choose the “advanced option” and then go to partition SD card.
4. After that, select the ext size (Make sure it is less than your memory card size).
5. The SD Card partition will begin and it will take some time. So, wait until the process is finished.
6. After that choose the +++++ Go Back +++++ option and reboot your device.

Instructions To Increase Internal Memory Of Android Phone With Link2SD:

1. You have done the partitioning of SD card. So, now it’s time to download and install the latest version of the app. (In case, if you not installed the app previously as I have said in the prerequisites).
2. Next grant the superuser permission for the Link2SD app.
3. After granting the superuser permission, it will ask you to select the file system of your second partition. Just, choose the select ext2 format as given in the below picture.


4. Once you confirmed the file system, it will ask you to restart your android phone. So, do it instantly.


5. Once your phone is restarted, again open the Link2SD app and select the filter option and choose the “On Internal” option as given in the below picture.


6. Once you chosen that option it will show the apps from the internal memory.
7. Select the options > Multi select. Finally choose the applications that you want to move to the internal memory.
8. Now, again choose the action and then create the link. Choose all the three options i.e Link application file, Link dalvik cache file and Link library files and tap OK.


9. It will take some time to create the link to this partition. Once it was created press OK. That’s it! all your applications will be moved to this partition.
10. In order to link every new app that you will download to this partition, choose the options and then again choose auto link.
11. Hereafter, whenever you download the app either from the android market or from the Google Play Store it will get saved in this partition.

If you want to check the status of the partition memory select option > Storage info. Don’t remove the memory card from your android phone as your apps will be linked to the SD card and by removing it, you cannot access them.
That’s it. Now you have partitioned the SD card and used it to increase Internal memory of Android phone.

[Install and Run] Backtrack On Android

 

Requirements

1. A Rooted  Device [ Root Simple Android Phone Without Pc ]
2. Backtrack ARM [ Download ]
3. BusyBox [ Download ]
4. Android Terminal and 5. android VNC
5. If you are using PC then you need 7zip for extraction otherwise you can use zarchiver on you android phone. [ Download ]

Step to Install and Run Backtrack On Android

First of all extract the BT5-GNOME-ARM.7z. and copy the “BT5” folder and then put in your phone’s root directory. Here mine phone is /sdcard. The root directory is different for different mobile devices.

1. Now install all the above apps Busybox, Android Terminal, Android Vnc.
2. After installing BusyBox application open it and wait until it finish loading and then click on Smart install.
3. Now open the android terminal and type the following command: su cd /sdcard/BT5 sh bootbt
   
   NOTE :- When you type su in terminal it will ask you for super user request and you have to tap on Grant.
   
4. After this, type the following commands in terminal. export USER=root
   vncpasswd
   
5. After entering vncpasswd the terminal will ask you to enter password. Enter the desired password and hit enter.
6. Now type the following commands. tightvncserver -geometry 1280×720
   
7. The terminal emulator will creates the localhost to connect it to VNC server. Now note the localhost port marked red below. Now minimize the terminal emulator.
8. Open the android VNC and type the following settings.

Nickname : BT5
Password : your password here which you entered in terminal (step no.6)
Address : localhost
Port : 5906

NOTE : Make sure that your localhost’s port matches with terminal’s localhost. Here mine New ‘X’ desktop is localhost:6. Your may be different. So, in VNC type Port 590X where the “X” is the localhost in android terminal.
That’s it now just tap on connect to run the Backtrack on your android. So in this way you sucessfully install and run backtrack 5 on android.

2. Install the application on your PC and connect your SD card to your PC with Card Reader.
3. Open Mini Tool Partition in your PC and when the wizards open click on your SD Card and select Delete option. (Note: This will format your SD Card completely mean that it will erase your data permanently, so previous to doing this backup your data at any place in PC or other Storage device.)
4. When the Formatting of your SD Card is completed then, you have whole of space of your SD Card as unallocated then Right click SD Card and select make option.
5. A popup box will open giving you options for making partition; select the partition as primary and file system as FAT if SD Card is less than 4GB or FAT32 if your SD Card is more than 4GB.
6. Leave about 512 MB or more space (your choice) for making the next partition.
7. Then select done and do right click on unallocated space of your SD Card and again click make option. Select Primary partition but change the file system to Ext2, Ext3 or Ext4.

Note: (Ext2 is not compulsory as most ROMs work fine with it).

The exploit even works for group chats, forcing participants to exit the thread. And the exploit seems to be working on most versions of the Android OS, including Jelly Bean, KitKat and below as tested by the duo. It is yet to be tested on the iOS version of WhatsApp, but given the earlier 7MB message fiasco holding true for Android and iOS, it may affect Apple’s mobile OS as well, but there are reports that it does not affect the platform at all. Similarly, the Windows Phone 8.1 version of the app remains unaffected too.
